Welcome to this glimpse of my every day life lived out of my cottage bakery in Canton, Ohio! Simply put, a cottage bakery is a term for a bakery that is established out of a home. I have weekly subscribers as well as those who order pastries or sourdough breads as they crave them. We have a separate exterior structure, aptly named the "bread shed", where customers can receive previously ordered items on baking days.

Working out of my home is an important aspect of this venture due to my desire to be present and available to my four children. My husband and I have many passions and hobbies from gardening to home brewing to roasting coffee, all of which also center around our home. We love hosting celebrations and get togethers with our friends and family, hoping to help forge a sense of community in whatever we are a part of.

It is my joy and passion to feed others quality baked goods sourced from organic, high quality, ancient grains grown locally because I strongly believe the longevity and quality of our lives is greatly impacted by what we consume. You will also find that not only are these items healthier because of how they are sourced, but they taste amazing!

I believe history is important and we learn from the stories of the past. As such, I hope this small business passion of mine will inspire you to look into the heritage of American farms and ancient grains. May we share in a collective remembering of not only what used to be, but what opportunities we have in investing in our health (and the those who follow us) both now and in the future.
